Pat Shepherd has owned Pat’s School of Dance for 39 successful years! Pat and her staff are certified by Dance Masters of America, Dance Educators Of America, and Professional Dance Teachers Of America, all prestigious dance teacher organization.

At Pat’s School of Dance there is also an award winning performing arts troupe. Over the years Pat’s students have won thousands of awards including many Highest Scores of the Day, 1st Place Overalls and the coveted Dance Educators of America President’s Cup. Pat has personally been the recipient of numerous Choreography Awards. She and her dancers worked in the 1987 smash hit Dirty Dancing.

A student of dance has the obvious advantages of developing strength, coordination, improved posture and gains in self confidence.  The classes at Pat’s School of Dance offer rich rewards to it’s students, such as discipline of mind and body, love of good music, pride in the pursuit of excellence and a love of dance as an art form.

Pat Shepherd is proud that her studio remains loyal to the fundmentals of dance.  We find that a trained student in the fundamental basics of tap, jazz and ballet will find it easier to excel in other areas of dance including but not limited to hip hop, lyrical, ballroom, disco and modern.

Your child, as a student of Pat’s, will belong to a dance studio that provides for growth and advancement in every avenue of dance.  Pat has always felt that stage experience contributes to the student’s self esteem and with the way they mature and present themselves to the public later in life.  Each year your child will experience and be part of a professionally staged and glamorous dance recital.
